The EXPERIENCED dental assistant we are seeking must possess the following:
- MUST have Registered Dental Assistant License and active in California.
- MUST have great oral and written communication skills and connect with patients and team members.
- Ability to multi-task with a busy schedule while not compromising care.
- Must adhere to the standard of care policies such as proper documentation, OSHA, HIPAA etc.
- Exemplify our culture, values, and commitment to patient satisfaction.
- Must be a team player! Ready to roll up your sleeves and get it done! “WE vs. ME”
- Must be detail-oriented, efficient and solution-oriented.
- Must work hand in hand with doctors and support staff to set and accomplish goals.
- Must be committed to developing patient relationships and educating patients.
- Must be confident in discussing all aspects of treatment and create value in their oral health.
- Must have X-Ray Certification.
- Must be willing to learn and be coached.
- Must be dependable.
- Must be organized and have attention to detail.
REQUIRED Dental Assistant Clinical Skills:
- Expert in making temporary crowns, bridges etc.
- Proficient in 4 handed dentistry.
- Knowledgeable and Experienced in endodontic systems, procedure set up and assisting in endodontic treatment.
- Proficient in placing sealants with dentist supervision and review.
- Proficient in taking various non-permanent Impressions including but not limited to temporary crown and bridge, occlusal guard, whitening trays, etc.
- Proficient in pouring and trimming stone models and fabricating temporaries, whitening trays etc.
- Proficient in the use of technology including but not limited to intro-oral cameras, dentrix dental software and other online applications used to chart and communicate with team members and patients.
