Job Description:
Mint Dental is looking for a dedicated Full-time Pediatric Dental Assistant to join our team. This role features a dynamic schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday in pediatrics, with Thursdays dedicated to our orthodontic department. The successful candidate will support our dentists during clinical procedures, manage instrument sterilization, maintain precise patient records, and provide a welcoming, high-quality experience for our young patients and their families.

This role features a dynamic schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday in pediatrics, with Thursdays dedicated to our orthodontic department. The successful candidate will support our dentists during clinical procedures, manage instrument sterilization, maintain precise patient records, and provide a welcoming, high-quality experience for our young patients and their families.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during a variety of pediatric dental procedures.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
- Ensure the operatory is clean and well-stocked.
- Take and develop X-rays as needed.
- Provide post-operative instructions as directed by the dentist.
- Maintain accurate patient records.
- Help manage patient flow and ensure a smooth experience for all patients.
- Educate patients and parents about proper oral hygiene practices.
- Support front office staff when needed.
Qualifications:
- Dental Assistant certification.
- Experience in pediatric dentistry is preferred.
- Familiarity with Denticon software is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work well with children and make them feel comfortable.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- CPR certification is a plus.
